Monday

  • “Higher Ground” is a Holistic/Spiritual support group that develops and maintains the body, mind, spirit, and dignity of the whole person. Higher Ground meet on Mondays from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM in Royal Oak, Michigan. Higher Ground is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization.   • "Straight Talk" a coed group which examines the issues facing heterosexuals infected with HIV/AIDS. HOWEVER all members of the infected community are welcome regardless of how they identify their orientation Wellness Offices 311 E. Court Street in Flint and are held from 6pm-7:30pm. Tuesday

  • Positive Support Organization has a support group for Heterosexual's infected and affected with HIV/AIDS. The group meets every Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Detroit Mt. Neby Church 9611 E. Forest, Detroit, MI. For additional information, please call Paula at (313) 925-0918
  • Transgender HIV Testing & Information! 6:00 to 7:00 pm Horizons Project provides HIV testing and counseling at Affirmations Lesbian and Gay Community Center on Tuesdays. Come with your questions about HIV and STDs, and learn how to protect yourself and use condoms. Concerns specific to the transgender community will be addressed in a safe and confidential space.   • "Positively Alive" examines the issues that concern infected members of the LGBT community. HOWEVER all members of the infected community are welcomed regardless of how they identify their orientation All groups are held at the Wellness Offices 311 E.   • WINGS Positive Social Opportunities Network will hold a dinner time chat every Tuesday beginning at 7PM. This chat will be professionally facilitated and include either a pot luck dinner or snacks. The group meets in the lower level of the Community Pride Building, 405 Livernois at Fielding (MAPP Building), Ferndale.
  • Positive Sign Yoga by Higher Grounds Back by popular demand! Hatha Yoga class for people living with HIV/AIDS. Classes held on Tuesday evenings, 7:30 - 8:30 PM, St. John's Episcopal Church, Woodward Ave. at Eleven Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI. Each class to focus on different introductory postures. Attend all classes for a gentle and relaxing experience!. Please bring a yoga mat and a blanket. Wednesday

  • For people living with HIV, 4pm to 6pm, CARES, 629 Pioneer St, Kalamazoo, MI 49008. Call Kelly at 269-381-2437 x 21 before attending group for details.
  • Horizons Project have closed groups, participants must complete intake.  The groups are for adolescents and young adults (age 13-24) only, they meet on Wednesdays: 2nd week-men, 3rd week-mixed, 4th week-women.  Contacts are Linda at 313-924-9493 or Steve at 924-8225.
  • Positive Support A support and information group for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Learn about the basics of HIV/AIDS, discuss disclosure and prevention, and get support from others living with HIV. Offered in collaboration with AIDS Partnership Michigan. Meets the second Wednesday of every month from 7-8:30pm at Affirmations Lesbian and Gay Community Center.  Call for more information - 248-398-7105.
  • "Open Arms" - A support group for those affected/infected with HIV/AIDS meets every Wednesday evening, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Community Pride Building, 429 Livernois (Between 8 & 9 Mile Rd), Ferndale.  [Open Arms is sponsored by Midwest AIDS Prevention Project (MAPP)] contact Andrew at (248) 545-1435

  • Buddies +, an educational support group for gay men, bisexual and Trangendered men that are HIV+, offers a relaxed and informal place to share their experiences and build new relationships.
