These positions are supported by a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which is renewed yearly as funds are available and studies are continued. Must be authorized to work full time in the United States and have access to reliable transportation.

HIV/STD/VH/TB Epidemiology Section, Michigan Department of Community Health beginning March 2008 At Herman Kiefer Health Complex (City of Detroit Department of Health and Wellness Promotion), 1151 Taylor, Detroit, MI 48202
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Assist HIV Incidence Coordinator with routine activities needed for estimating rates of recent infection: update and manage related databases, and interact with providers, HIV testing sites and laboratories. Assist HIV Resistance Surveillance Coordinator with data management Conduct active HIV/AIDS surveillance (chart review, case reporting) for a small number of sites. Assist with data analyses that may lead to published manuscripts
